My Ride: 2009 Alpine White BMW 535i xDrive

I was getting out of work and on the FDR highway it seemed like a nice clean stretch of what putting the pedal to the metal when at the end of the stretch I see a Highway Patrol officer in the middle of the highway extending his arm out pointing me to take my ass to the curve lol. I was doing maybe 105 but when I saw the patrol car (which was overshadowed by the bridge) I slammed my brakes and he caught me at 76

After the officer runs my license, he comes back to me and says, "You have a really nice car there but you really need to slow down sir".

I tell him, "Thank you officer, enjoy the rest of your evening".

I think its time for me to invest in a radar detector/jammer. Any suggestions which one is best and discreet?

Dude - you should take that down ASAP. Posting a picture of a personally identifiable ticket and admitting to running significantly quicker than the speed you were actually booked at probably isn't the brightest of ideas...

The date of offense is 12/15/2009, lol. Is this ticket old? Have you waited almost 30 days to respond to that? If so your license is likely already suspended

Man, how long have you been driving in NY? That place always have cops there around that time. Good luck.

Ticket says the speed limit was 40--standard FDR. And you were doing 105? And you were able to scrub off almost 30 mph? And this ticket is a month old?

Yes its called braking. Yes its a month old and you can plead online at the dmv website. Yes its a month old ticket. And if you lived in NYC you would know all of this and you dont make court appearance for almost 8 months from the date of offense.
