Damn!! I got nicked by the police laser gun! The ticket just got sent to me today
along with this picture. $100 ticket for going 134km on a 100km freeway.

No other cars for at least 500 meters and driving felt really great! Oh well, I deserve it.

Nice pic they took, by the way...

I want to congratulate you and even the other forum members who have responed to your thread. Most of the time, people _itch about getting tickets and blame their tickets on the LEO. So far on this thread, no one has done that. Remember some of those old expressions: (Man up; take responsibility, etc). This is almost a first on many forums.

Anyway, be careful with your driving; and continue being a man. (I have not had a ticket for speeding ever although I have been stopped. Gray hair helps.) When I do get a ticket, I will just figure my time is up--considering all the tickets that I did not get.

I guess I should, however, take you to task for such fast driving. We never know when someone will 'appear' in front of us. I do not want to see you (or any of us) on the evening news.

Nice car, btw.

Here's a story for y'all. My wife has 4 sisters and when they were younger and didn't have their own cars yet, they'd each borrow dad's car. One day the police showed up with a pretty low quality speeding photo and demanded that her dad identify who it was that was driving. He really had no idea who it was and couldn't tell from the photo as it was such a low quality image it could have been any of the 5 girls and none of them owned up to it. The police dropped it and left.

I love the stance of your car in that pic -- hauling on brakes does help I have similar pics from Germany, but they are in black-and-white. I get all excited about how good my car looks... I guess it eases the pain of the fine
Yes it does! I was busy looking at the car to even look at the included 'red slip'!

Yeah, I deserve it since I shouldn't have been going so fast but the nearest car was
at least half a kilometer away so....

Oh well, at least I got another pic for my signature pic -- once I scan it that is!

34kph too fast and only a hundred bucks?! Damn, if you do that here, you'll pay AT LEAST 250 euro's.

134 is not fast, we do that speed in traffic. Today's cars (not only bimmers, but almost all of them) can safely do 160. Speed limits all over the world should be upped to at least 150.
Luckily for me, Germany with it's great autobahns is only 15 miles away for me
(Every bimmer deserves to be driven at top speed at least once in it's life)

Wish are tickets where that cheap.

At least in WI we don't allow camera radar enforcement or red light cameras.
Lucky bastards! Washington and Oregon both have and use them for enforcement!

Might want to spend some money for a Valentine1 (V1) -- it's a RADAR Locator and it will detect MOST emissions. But, a LASER beam is just a point-and-shoot operation and will most likely catch you instantaneously...

I can attest that it's helped me in the past.... Also, it can be "hardwired" into your E60 with only 10 mins of effort. Just do a search for Valentine and you'll find the DIY.
