In maximum 5-10 years Flash will be a sad and pitiful reminder of what fail means in IT.
If you jailbreak your ipad, you can download an app called SkyFire. It's a browser that supports flash.

Don't need to jailbreak for Skyfire - it's available in the App Store. It only works on Flash video, but it does work.

For what it's worth, most Flash video is actually H264 video embedded in a Flash container. It's very common for websites to serve up the video in native H264 in cases where the client doesn't have Flash.

Not yet - but I probably will at some point soon. I already have two iPads so this one is less of a priority! I will pick up a 32 or 64GB in white with the AT&T 3G next time I happen to find one in stock.

$4,000!?!?! Really? What some people will pay for the "status" of being one of the first...

I plan on buying one too, but only a 16GB version. I was debating on either to get one with or without the 3G capability. If I can tether through my iPhone, I don't really see a reason to though. Hmmm... Not sure if the 3G would be worth the extra upgrade fee.

Wow! Paying a premium of $4K is just ridiculous! I can't imagine why anyone would need one that badly. Talk about price gauging. LOL

Just tether it through your phone man. Don't bother paying the extra for 3G. Just remember to buy an extra battery pack for your phone so you can have it charge up. I've got one of those battery packs for my iphone 4 for long trips. If its running low. I plug that in and the phone goes back to 100% in no time with plenty of juice to spare.

Btw.. Its ridiculous to get an Ipad 2 around here. Its sold out everywhere. So annoying.

The problem with tethering can be the limits on tethered data. You just need to be careful on whether these will impact you. I am grandfathered in on the now discontinued unlimited 3G iPad plan and AT&T has confirmed that his can be transferred to the iPad2.
