Reason I asked, my son works for a contractor in Iraq, military base quite near Kuwait. He tells me no adult bevs in those parts. Says they even need to be careful when a female camel strolls by! :lol

Egypt is very very different than Kuwait or Iraq....You will find that Egyptians and Lebanese also are very modern! ofcourse there are backward areas but for the most part modern. Iraq also used to be very modern when Saddam was there, until Bush invaded and handed it to the militant taliban crazy douchebags! But lets not get into that!

Well, i lived in Alexandria, its on the Coast of the meditteranean, very similar to FL weather i'd say. Cairo is actually also not as hot as you would imagine, probably not as hot as Arizona!
