What exactly do you use the IPad for? I am a uber tech geek and I still can't find a reason to use one besides using it as an E-Book? Is it just like a big iphone (cause i doooo love my iphone)

 

ipad is soooo useless and basically showing that all you know how to do is spending money on stuff that is basically useless...

Don't hate apple for making you pc virtually useless.

 

problem is it is not worth it buying one that is just bigger version of ipod touch that cannot be docked in my car and too big to carry around

 

I'm sure 3 million people would disagree with you. I for one, is 2 of those 3 Million. I actually use it more than my laptop now, although it does not replace my desktop.
I get work done on the iPad all the time. Also made a lot of money from making and selling apps.

Useless? I beg to differ.

 

i use mine for all kinds of things. I almost never use my desk top for internet now and the
youtube and netflix apps are used almost as much as my tv. the ipod on it makes it usefull
when we have a few people over out on the deck, the speaker is just loud enough. i love using it

 

actually it's more of a "smaller version of the macbook pro"

before the iPad, i had to carry a messenger bag with my 15" macbook pro with power adapter and accessories...
now, with the iPad, i just carry the iPad by itself.

iPad: 2 lbs.
Macbook Pro with power adapter and messenger bag: 9 lbs.

the math is so simple.

I actually just sold my 15" Macbook Pro 2 days ago. it was replaced by the iPad.

 

i love my iPad! it's become my digital portfolio i take with me, photos on this thing is amazing! and it's a great way to engage a potential client when they can flip through the images themselves.

the iPad comes in very handy when you don't want to bring a laptop along. it won't replace a full keyboard, so it's not something you can type a novel on. and the fact that i can make wifi calls on it via vonage is awesome!!
