A lady was video taping her son riding a skate
board when her attention switched to an old woman trying to cross the street.
You might need to watch it twice to get the full effect on the driver.
If you turn the volume up, you can hear the photographer giggling as she records the event.

Hahahha I've never seen it... but heres my thought. I think it was because the guy was revving the engine so the cars sensor thought he was moving at high speed... and then when the bumper has a hit. The sensors took that as a head on crash so the air bag deployed.
It doesnt look staged... Looks pretty real to me... What he did wasnt cool. Leave the old lady alone... he startled her... and at the beginning you can hear him screech tires to come to a stop.

If you aren't convinced it's staged ... look how slowly the airbag deploys, and how it deploys "up" from his lap (where it's sitting) rather than "back" from the steering wheel.
