This has been one hell of a summer for celebrity deaths...
The CBS tribute to Walter that aired last night (in the 60 minutes time slot) was quite good. Much of it was footage of a fairly recent extended interview with Walter himself so it was very cool...

A lot of people over use many terms (hero and genius to name a couple), but Walter Cronkite was literally the voice of a generation. You can't watch news coverage from the 60s and 70s without hearing his iconic voice. May he rest in peace.
