I have been fascinated lately by several shows on Discovery HD theater that come from our friends across the pond:

1) Wheeler Dealers

2) Auto Trader

3) Chop Shop

4) Wreck Rescue

Anyone else seen these? Enjoy them?
So far my favorite is the Wheeler Dealer where they rejuvenated a 635ci BMW it was gorgeous!!!

You can't be serious about Chop Shop. What they create is absolute BS.

Not saying I would buy one, but they are funny as hell to watch. The interaction is hysterical. I would definitely questions the engineering - 6" spacers? I mean c'mon who does that?

Yeah indeed. But the show repeats itself all the time... At first one of them has an idea, then they collect some scratch, some building, then arguing, making up, more building, ready, everybody praises them.

I've been watching that channel as well lately. Motorcycle Mondays!!! For those interested, Isle of Man TT has been showing during the past couple of days and they might re-run it again tonight.

True, but I would still love to see one of those things actually sell. I am curious as to who would buy one. Besides, most TV nowadays is repetitious, especially reality TV. And the cars they design look like death traps, flimsy sheet metal combined with questionable engineering and really low budget builds = disaster for those that buy them.

I saw the show with the 635i and while I love the car, I thought the show was a bit thin. Not to mention, I hate it when someone sits on a fender (cars don't have wings) or hood of a car. But I agree, it's nice to see some new car shows and in HD.
