I have had a quick look at the US BMW site and the standard spec for a US car and a UK car seem so different eg over here we can only choose from an SE or M Sport model. On the SE you cant add an M Tech spoiler or M Kit.What you do is buy an M Sport instead that comes with them as standard. In the US there is , I think, a Sport upgrade pack too.

On an M Sport 19" alloys are ?780 or about $1550.

A basic 550i SE is $93000 compared to $97,500 for an M Sport.

I might have answered your question after all that

I'm interested in the cost of other mods ie. small parts that can easily be put in a suitcase when traveling.

I think if I was back in england I'd have to get something smaller than a 5, the biggest car I had over there was a F**d Sierra that got totaled before I came over here.

No XR3s but a lot of Pimped Civics... but isn't the shore very essex like?

You don't have a GB sticker on the back of your car do you?
