With the new forum looking pretty good and being kept clear of trolls, I'd like to thank Lomag and DAS for all their efforts in putting together such a great site.

Why thanks Guys! I've been really busy the past week or so and haven't had much time to read and post. The server this web site runs from will be upgraded soon too, probably within a week or so. The current hardware is a bit outdated and it could use the upgrade. Ever since I installed spam and anti-virus filtering for e-mail it's been a little bogged down processing everything.

Not to worry though

And we're still waiting for version 2.0 of this boards software!

Thanks all.

It's been great to see this grow into a thriving and helpful community in the just over a year since the forum started!

Up until last month, the site was running on a server (an Apple Xserve running Mac OS X Server, to be exact) at the University of Wisconsin, just a small offshoot of the old E60 site I used to maintain (e60.doit.wisc.edu).

As it became clear the site was growing at a rate where it might not be acceptable to continue hosting it at the university, Lomag offered to integrate the forums into the new E60 site he was creating...at which point our 500th member joined!

That brings us to where we are today. Thanks to everyone for making this a productive, fun, and informative site.

Great site
Very informative
Relaxed admins
Very nice people on board (I actually mad new friends here!)
Not to serious, we can joke around with eachother sometimes and no one is irritated.
I'm very happy to be a member of this board and hope to contribute for the oncomming years.
