SP3 is still in beta isn't it? Besides, the updates in SP3 are only important to businesses who need to rollout patches on a large number of boxes. For those of us that have been consistently using Windows Update since SP2's rollout, SP3 only has a few non-worthwhile updates.
You Mac guys running Intel chipsets... can Windows XP allocate more than 2GB of memory running on Parallels? Or is 2GB the limitation of a 32-bit OS?

Yeah, I'll admit I like installing the latest software updates... but updating Windows could potentially create a scenario for reformatting. And that scares the shit out of me, not to mention a big waste of time.

me = 3 laptops
wife = 2 laptops
kids = 3 laptops (1 each)
Dining room = 1 desktop PC
Living room = 1 media centre PC
Converted garage = 1 desktop PC, 1 server (used for CCTV)
My bedroom = 1 media centre PC
Loft = 4 "spare" desktop PCs
So that's .... 17 computers. My god, what would I have done with my life if I were born 20 years earlier ... !!!
That doesn't include the xbox 360, the two PS3s, the two PS2s, the Wii ... and also, my job is an IT manager, so I am surrounded by computers at work as well.

I have dabbled with Mandrake over the years and more recently Ubuntu. I'm getting a bit impatient these days and got a bit ticked off when the version of Ubuntu I was playing with refused to play with dual monitors.
Hey Russ - no Pocket PC?!

I like the stability of Linux OS's... but unfortunately, graphics/video software such as Adobe products don't play nice on Linux and neither do games. Not to mention they're a pain in the ass to find drivers for, but they're great for web servers! ![Tongue](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tongue.gif)
I'm personally a Windows guy, but I like OS X and Macs too... but the elitist attitude Apple cultivates makes me puke.
I just want to slap some of them fanboy bitches.
