Is this thread posted in the correct section? I don't think it has any E60 content.

If you view their terms and conditions , the 2nd section that is shown as "II Objet Du Contrat" lists the companies that are involved in the cooperation. "Autoroutes du Sud de la France" would appear to be the company they're tied in with in the southern region.

Also, the there's information on the other forum that I've linked to (Lotus 7 Club), from some members who've had experience of travelling further, and everything's worked fine

I'm not sure the system will function outside France, but certainly a non-French resident can register quite simply.

Tommy - I did all the ordering online - fairly simple
Yes, I saw that option, but it did state I was to pay 16 Euro per year (first year) and then 20 Euro per year, whilst I prefer the option to pay 2 euro per month for the months I use the french peage. I have sent an email to sanef to ask for guidance.

Tommy - I just went for the 2 Euro per month option and entered my details as if i were a French resident, but obviously filled in the address section with my UK details. Received the transponder a couple of months ago (middle of February) and so far I've not been charged anything other than the initial equipment deposit, which IIRC totalled Euro 33 with taxes. I arrived back from Paris a week ago so now I expect to be billed 2 Euro for April plus the road toll fee. I'm assured by other users that the 2 Euro charge only applies in the months of use, but I'll only be able to confirm this from personal experience when I've had a clear (non-payment) month
