As the obesity epedemic grows in the US... so do the size of the people... who serve as America's chief health educator by providing Americans the best scientific information available on how to improve their health and reduce the risk of illness and injury.

anybody know a good deaf guy that can recommend a great cd to pick up?

Ok Craig, ya got me here. With heart disease being the #1 killer in US don't you think they could find a doc who WASN'T obese to provide an example to children, they are out there.

I'll never forget the doctor we had in the Chicago suburbs a few years back. Truly a veritable mountain of a man, he was an absolute behemoth. He had to be pushing somewhere between 350lbs and 400lbs... He was actually a very good doctor, but I think it's probably fair to say he perhaps didn't practice what he preached!

Funny story, I went to the Doc a few years back in NYC. Got a lecture on my smoking, that I should quit and yadda, yadda, so I go to the receptionist pick up my prescription (tuns out I was mildly anemic) go outside and the friggin Doc is smoking and he had a couple of other butts around his feet!!!! And he's getting on me??!?!!
