I used to do the Antigua to Trinidad puddle jumper (BWIA) which included stops at St. Maartens, Guadelupe, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, and Grenada in various combinations depending on time of day and direction. Couple of places were very tight. Also St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands is a challenge, normally on take off due to high peak near airport. And then there is San Diego - always exciting to either be in the airpalne or watch others landing with the wheels seeming to touch buildings

Although not populated with large numbers of tourists the landings and take offs at Wake, Midway, Grand Turk (Turks and Cacios) were always exciting to me as they always appeared no bigger than a US Navy flat top and I would be in a rather large aircraft that I was not sure would "fit"

I remember watching a Top Gear episode where a Citroen 2CV drove behind a stationary jet with its engines on ....... RIPPED it apart, completely.

I'll not be visiting that beach!

Here's a link to a video of a 747 landing on that strip...

(You need to watch the commercial first...)
