I hear you, but this car has been in development and testing for quite some time. Audi seemed capable of bringing out a new car and not making a joke out of their performance. You could have taken an M3 off the assembly line and finished better than they did.

Strong statement considering we have no idea what failed (could be a $10 part). Had this been a standard length ALMS race they would finished 2nd....10th overall. As for the comparison with Audi.....do you really think that's fair.

Yes, I do think it is fair. Audi produced a brand new car with a brand new motor and didn't have sufficient time to test it. Somehow they managed to not only finish the race, but win. They have their racing program together. BMW outsourced it to Rahal and apparently he didn't do a very good job.
It is a growing experience. Rahal will use this season as one long test session. Don't expect much.

They lost the engine in the second car, not sure what happened to the 1st. Was watching it when it died and from the in car it all of a sudden blew up. I was excited to see them in second though. Guess they have some "issues" to work out.
