Thanks Joe but I know nothing about traffic law (or really about anything that affects folks in their everydays lives). My specialty is large scale commercial and insurance coverage litigation and the clients I represent are almost all big companies.
But thanks for thinking of me bro.
In the OP's shoes, I'd hire me a good traffic lawyer.

As a few others, including myself have said, hire a traffic lawyer. I am sure you will be getting loads of junkmail from them within a week.
DO NOT GO INTO COURT WITH ANY LEGAL ADVICE YOU RECEIVED ON THIS FORUM OR FROM FRIENDS. Even if you have a lawyer friend that GIVES YOU advice, DO NOT USE IT. The minute an average joe walks into the courtroom spewing legal mumbo jumbo that his aunt sally gave him because her favorite show is peoples court, you will be laughed at by the judges and the cops. More important then saving money, save face. Hire the guy that makes a living out of getting people off the hook in traffic court.
