I totally forgot how to use C++. I even forgot how to write hello world!!! I used to be able to program it for my engineering calculations and now I forgot everything. LOL

I hear you.

We didn't learn C++ rather Java. I used to be able to write a program that tells you what seats are left in the cinema. Now when I try to write a script for my phone, it never works, always something wrong(endless loops). Used to be good at it. Gotta practice again.

 

I forgot C.... Don't even get me started on Ada, Pascal, Fortra, LISP, and assembly

 

I forgot all the java I know, probably for the better

 

EESH, programming geeks!!!! I can't stand programming, maybe because my first introduction was Basic - one summer afternoon, 4 hrs programming, result? waving American flag - that's it, nothing else. Never programmed again, went into networking instead.

I can get you free top of the line software like maple; Mathematica; audocad; cad; autodesk maya; newtonlab etc

 

I remember Maple too!!! I tried solving a problem on my TI-89. Froze my calculator. Then used Maple, froze the computer. LOL. I went to school for chemical and biological engineering but never went into the field.

 

Thats my worst fear. I am finishing my Masters in Construction Engineering and I am worried that after 4yrs BE and 2yrs Masters, I will end up going in a different field

ADA 95 FTW! I still program in ada when I do a big projects (it's the only one i can remember how to use with the 9 pin port or usb) and i still have lots of code from college that i reuse. For little stuff I just use perl or python.

I just got a mac so I can finally download the iphone SDK. Is that just C++?

As for degrees I use my BS and MS daily but i know a lot of folks that don't, military doesn't care what degree just that you have one.
