My weekend car is a modded Audi TT Roadster - currently around 260-270bhp, but awaiting arrival of turbo from MTM in Germany (hopefully next week) for completion of their 345bhp big turbo conversion.....

This thread has been a bit quiet.... so I thought I'd let you know that the big turbo conversion on my TT is now complete. On the day it made 340bhp, but this was with a slight tear in the turbo diverter valve diaphragm and a stock air filter, so I'm hoping to hit the promised 345bhp now both these issues have been fixed. Oh, and I clearly need some new brake pads!!! :-)

It's a quattro - so it is VERY good at getting away from the lights :-)

Jimbo, it isn't that light - the 4wd mechanism and the extra strengthening of the roadster over the coupe add some weight - the quattro 225 roadster is about 1640kg, compared to 1570kg for a quattro 225 coupe or just 1360kg for a front wheel drive 180ps coupe!

I should get some 100% accurate 0-60 times in erm, May at Gti International.... but it's got to be 5.something.
