Less than an hour to tip off.....I think the clock is slow!!
I was doing fine until I watched ESPN news and they kept showing all the historical highlights of the Laker/Celtic rivalry, and now I'm frothing at the mouth!!!
It's like being a kid again and time IS JUST CREEPING BY!!!!

Okay, half way through, and the Lakers are up by 5, now we've just got to win the second half too!
Lets hope the sports analysts are right. Most of them I heard, said Celtics will win tonight(which they did), but Lakers will take the series.
We just need one at their place, and then we have three straight home games.
To be honest, I almost feel like we are playing with "house money".

man, Lakers did not hold their ground in the second half
my prediction as Laker lost the first game, then win 3 straight, then lose one more at Boston, and finally win the championship at home (4:2)

I am just happy that the Lakers are in the finals, never even guessed they could have gone through the western conference like that.
Boston has one hell of a team. I mean hell, they are on their way to a USA Olympic basketball team starting five, with Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. I am not really a Pierce fan, but Allen and Garnett are good people. I wouldn't be upset to see them get a ring, just upset that the Lakers would have to lose in the process.
But I certainly want the Lakers to win. If they can pull off an upset in game two, they will have three straight home games and Boston has been terrible on the road in the playoffs.

On on the flip side, all Boston has to do is steal one in LA, they away game play definitely stepped up in the detroit series....
