I don't think it was Langers or Philippe's. I wil find out from my LA office associate you took me there.
My fav place to eat in downtown LA was the Water Grill. Yum!! Followed by Morton's and Roy's.

The Water Grill, Mortons and Roys are great places in the D/T LA area. When you're here, we should also hit up Flemings Steakhouse by the Staples Center. If it's basketball season, I'll see if I can score a suite from my insurance broker so we can also hit up a game...it's now great being on the client side!
Wuld love to catch a Lakers' game. Hopefully when my currently stayed case in federal court in LA goes to trial, it wil be during basketball season.
I did nmot try Flemings during my Jan-Feb trial in LA. I ordered ina lot from Zucca. Yum!

Scott ~ when you come out, definitely Tommy's...we'll take you to the original on Rampart...it's pretty close to Downtown LA and the courthouses. Maybe we can even do a lunch meet there, and send you back to court smelling like day old chili and onions!

Cool. That would make you a Risk Manager. I've deposed a bunch of them in my carier as much of my practce is on the carrier side in insurance coverage litigations against commercial policyholders. Prior to my current gig, I sued insurance carriers on behalf of corporate policyholders.

Hopefully you'll be out here during basketball season, and we can catch a game as well...maybe make a meet out of it with the LA Bimmer Crew...

Sounds like you work downtown. That where my firm's LA office is -- on South Fig. Tommy's sounds good to me. I soent more time prepping for a trial than actually trying a case so I will have time to eat there.
Good, then you'll have time for a little Big Mikes meet the day after Tommy's - of course you'll be too stuffed to attend the trial the next day, but that's ok - right?
