You break the rules, you pay. Hopefully, the ones who got tickets will warn others. If common sense doesn't work, then a ding to the wallet might.
I mean, come on. When I see kids on the sidewalk, especially here in the burbs (not so street-wise), I go into hyper-vigilant mode. They could dart out into the street or a friend could be goofing around and push them, whatever. They're kids, and I practically come to a stop when I see them near the street. I sure a lot of you guys do the same.

Whenever I see kids Im always worried that they will run across the street chasing a ball or something.
Especially if I see a house with a lot of cars parked on the street, I immediately think kids can be playing hide and seek.
And one of them can be behind a car that I cant see and dart out at any second.
Damn Kids make me nervous!

Model Year: .
i lived on a long culdesac when i was young, and there was this guy that drove a loud ass monte carlo, and he would get up to about 70 MPH and everyone would run. all the kids where scared of him. one day my mom screamed at him and he turned around and threatened to kill her. i was traumatized. I remember how this nut was perceived in the neighborhood, so now i am like driving miss daisy whenever kids are ANYWHERE in eyesight. anyways, that guy needed an ass beating.
