My gratitude and thanks to all of served and continue to serve, and a personal tribute to my grandfathers who served in the British army and who fought on the beaches in Normandy during the Second World War. The world would be a different place today had they and countless brave servicemen and women like them not prevailed.

Hats off to all of the brave servicemen and women, both living and dead.
And a special tribute to my late great uncle, Benjamin Grossman who fought bravely in WW2 as a Captain in the US Army in the infanty. Ben served valliantly, landing on Utah Beach on D-Day and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. Ben was wounded twice and risked immediate deportation to a concentration camp had he been captured. Rest in peace Ben. We will never forget you.
