The Rolex 24hr race starts soon, Grand Am Racing. Several BMW Rileys and M6s should be in it.
BMW is off to a good start, M3s finished 1-2 in a 200 mile sprint race.
I have to watch Grand Am racing without BMW in F1 this year.

Just a quick update, after 45 minutes of racing, BMW had 3 of the top 6 positions in DP and leads in GT, with Joey Hand in a Turner Motorsports M6!
The most interesting thing is the Target Chip Ganassi team is now BMW powered with the same top drivers as before.
FYI, all the BMWs are running Dinan powered V8s.

Update: A little more than 6 hours to go:
In the DP class, the Target Ganassi BMW is 2nd, with 3 cars close on the lead lap. A 2nd BMW Riley is 4th, 2 laps down.
In the GT class, its not as good, with the Turner M6 6th in class, 11 laps down. And they're in the pits replacing a coil.
Boris Said commented there are still 2 normal length races to go so they'll still push it to the end.

Update: after 24 hours and 2687 miles, the Target Ganassi BMW Riley finished 2nd, 50 seconds behind a Porsche. Another BMW powered Riley finished 3rd. In GT the Turner M6 finished 8th and class and another M6 finished 11th.

I watched the last hour or so. Excellent overall result for the BMWs in the field.
