Its like roundabouts too. Theyre safer, dont start and stop traffic, and keep the roads flowing. But "they" feel americans are too retarded to figure out how to use them. Its a shame that everything is designed around the people with the lowest IQ and not the rest of us..

"Swindon has a nice one"
Actually,it isn't a roundabout, there are 5 interconnected mini-roundabouts (usually a slightly raised dome painted white which people often drive over instead of driving round).
Many large roundabouts now also have traffic lights to control traffic flow but I won't go into that!

Well, prior to the road rage thread being consumed by a pretty amusing little dust up, it was an interesting thread in terms of substance.
My own reaction to poor driving is to ignore it, avoid the other car and drive away. I see absolutely no point in risking my life, safety and freedom (or those of my family) for some POS, immature driver. I feel I have far too much to lose. Perhaps my perspective is shaped byy the fact that I'm 40 with a family and a career that I love but there you have it. But I think it's good advice for anyone: don't risk so much for a total stranger who you'll never see again.
Oh and on the fight, of course I side with my long term peeps Marc and Craig.

Friend, your level of maturity is an inspiration even though I have a few years on you
Our egos can be big, having possession of fast and fancy cars, which often gets the better of us. But it's an eye opener to come across such view that makes a lot of sense.
Respect.

I haven't been to this part of the UK, but if I did as a driver with a BIG RED "L" (Learner) tag on the car, I can assure you my white banged up 1980 Ford Cortina would have been wrapped around that big hard to miss pole in the middle!

I have stopped road raging and drive more calmly now. Yesterday in heavy rain here in NY a civic was tailgating me to the point I could not see his headlights. A bit annoyed I did not brake check him but instead turned my lights on and off so it looked like I had braked....he then backed off.
Although last week lol...coming back from Toronto as a passenger, we passed a car on the right being driven by a young girl. For whatever reason she started tailgating and flashing her hibeams. Annoyed I used the flash light app on my phone which turns on two bright LED on my phone and started flashing them out the window. She backed off and switched lanes.
