Wow! I was expecting big numbers. Way over my budget anyway, but still i'll look around and cultivate my timepice knowledge.

Around 2000k, 3000k tops what make and model would you recommend? Lookout facts: luxury, non-metallic belt, elegant, classy but not too old looking. Sorry if i bother you but i saw you knew "a thing or two" about watches.
No bother... I would look at Omega, Breitling or TAG Heuer they have watches available in that price range, maybe a bit more. Breitlings Navitimer's look great on leather straps as well as a bracelet, in my opinion Breitling's service is less than stellar though. TAG Heuer has a watch that I like a lot called the Monoco, actually it's the only TAG I like. My buddy has an Omega Seamaster GMT that I really like. Just a few of the brands I like at the price range you specified.

May favorite watch that I wear daily is a Citizen Titanium Skyhawk Ecodrive. It never needs winding or battery replacement (as long as its fed sunlight occasionally), its got the analog look, digital features, 24 time zones with easy switching of the hands to any of them, and is much lighter than most sport watches.
I bought mine while on a Carribean cruise for 50% off too!!!

Attachment 41066

Nice. I have an ECO too. A "Zilla" or "ECOzilla" as they're known. Love the thing. I just ordered the NATO strap adapters and a 24mm grey Maratac Zulu strap.

Nice PAM Lou! I almost bought a PAM 240 - same as your watch, but titanium with tobacco dial.

Thanks. I was looking at the 240 as well (and a 164, and a few more). The 104 seemed more a better fit for me, and I was a bit concerned about scratching the titanium. I've heard it is expensive to refinish, and scratches can't be buffed out like on polished steel.

BetterMakeWay, I've seen some nice watches by Ernst Benz in some of the watch magazines. I don't know much about them, but they seemed well priced (under $3k for some models). Very clean, with some nice features. http://www.ernstbenz.com/ Not common, like some of the other brands (Tag, etc.), which can be appealing as well.

Lou

BetterMakeWay, check out Bell&Ross as well. I'm a fan of their instrument collection.

Yeah, the Panerai titanium isn't know for its durability. Oddly, the titanium on my Citizen is so tough that I haven't been able to scratch it yet. Probably as it should be... supposed to be harder than steel.

I tried the 240 on and it really didn't do anything for me. I figured if you are spending that kind of money on something, it should really grab you.

We just got our wedding photos back from the photographer and apparently my 217 made an appearance at the reception.

Nice picture/pretty couple. Your wife is beautiful. Congrats!

The face of your watch looks like it's bigger than my whole wrist. hahaha

I know this watch can't compete, or even be in the same league as your watches. I just ordered this... Its freaking cool.
