we put him in the smaller cage to feed him the pinky.. my son didnt make sure the top snapped.. and when we checked on him hours later..(had a party going on) he was gone! lol.. we looked everywhere.. i crawled on the floor all night.. !!! nothing! he was only a little over a foot long, so he could have slipped anywhere small.. even slip down where the pipes are in the baseboard and gone out.. who knows.. he was a small corn snake, so hes gone now.. or dead..?

What I find funniest is that Mel asks if anyone else has done something similar and three or four people chime in with advice not to do it, etc. Instead, they talk about how this is a chance to teach the kids a life lesson, etc.
Does Mel listen? Hell no, she's not even reading the posts, she's out buying a replacement snake!!
