This is going to be a nice weekend for many Americans. For me Ill spend it remembering my friends that made the ultimate sacrifice to our nation and our nations people. We don't ask that you thank us, as we choose to do this. We just ask that you remember why we do it and all the good we have created in this world regardless of the bad.

Wow. One of the most profound experiences I have had, other than the birth of my children, was going to the American cemetery in Normandy. Walking amongst the thousands upon thousands of white crosses and stars is hard to describe. Makes you realize how lucky, and spoiled we modern Americans are...
