Cool!! thanks for all the replies.... have just arrived very jet lagged but a quick shower, a red bull and some fresh air should be just the trick....

Go have cocktails during Happy Hour at Top of the Mark located on the roof of the Mark Hopkins Hotel on Nob Hill. They have pretty good live smooth jazz music there as well.
