Hi Board

A question.

What did you drive before you got your E60?

At the moment I drive an Audi A2 which is tiny. I wanted to buy the 1 series and went for a test drive, here in the UK, at the Rockingham racetrack. The car wasn't big enough for me. I have two spoilt daughters and need space in the car.

Going to an E60 from an Audi A2 is quite a change.

Is anyone else here making a leap like I am, or are you all just rich men who've always had big cars?

Thanks for the info. Definitely not too much. Some very nice cars there. And thanks for the link to the previous thread. It was a tonic!

Mine, starting from the most recent are

2004 Audi A2. Very Nice Car. Bad Audi Service Costs.
2003 Ford Focus 2.0 RS. Quick Car. Fun to drive.
2001 BMW 318i (Company Car).
1998 Mercedes C200 Esprit (Company Car).
1995 BMW 318iSE (Nice Comany Car!)
1994 Ford Escort MK3 1.3. Unbelievable rust bucket!
1992 Ford Sierra 2.0 (Company Car).
1990 Ford Sierra 1.6LX (Company Car).
1988 Peugeot 205 GR (Company Car).
1987 Ford Escort MK2 1.3. (StudentMobile).
1986 Triumph Dolomite Sprint. My first love.

So I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my hands on an E60. Hoping to keep it for at least 3 years.

Haha... That means I am young enough here to enter this thread.

Since I first had my driver's license when I was 16, I had:
1993 Lexus LS400 (Year long)
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 (Winter)
1998 Acura 2.5TL (Winter)
1998 Lexus GS300 (Summer)
1999 BMW M Roadster (Summer)
1999 Infinity QX4 (Winter)

Then now:

2003 BMW 530i (No more winter in Hong Kong... hoho... )
