Claim Number c-6147
Government code section 835(b) which states that a public entity must have actual or constructive notice of the dangerous condition and sufficient time prior to damage to have taken measures to protect against a dangerous condition....

A colleague of mine had a similar thing in DE a while ago.
Thei did NOT pay since they claim they were not notified before by somebody of the potholes. I had seen the holes and they were huge.
So, none of the damn State Troopers that are everywhere could call this in?
I guess, if you see the holes, you need to stop, call them in, then turn around, and then drive throught them. Then they will pay..........
