My Ride: Alpine White 530i Mtech
I went to BMW today to look at my car. The BMW Body Shop manager said it might be totaled. Can someone please explain to me how it works when you have a lease and you car is totaled? Thank God I am ok, as for the other lady that hit me I hope she is ok. The accident was not my fault the other driver turned into me as I was going through the intersection. So if the car is totaled any part that I can take off will be for sale(Trunk Finisher, ACS Replica spoiler, Tinted tails, Black Grills, M-Tech Rear bumper with dual openings from EuroRev) Here are some pics

Thank God you are alright and I hope the lady that hit you is fine too. I'm not in the U.S. so I don't know what happens when a leased vehicle gets totaled there. However, I feel your pain. Accidents are a terrible thing.

When you lease is covered and your car is totaled doesn't BMW have a "GAP" insurance program where it will cover what your car insurance does not for cost of the car? Either way, hope you get things taken care of to your satisfaction. Glad you are okay. GL

Anthony, sorry to learn about your accident and glad you're ok. Your insurance and BMW leasing should cover everything if its totaled, plus you are not at fault. Just start thinking about the next ride. I'm interested in the quad diffuser
