PayPal e-check
#1
has anyone sold anything and buyer has paid using paypal e-check? if so, i have a few questions:
1) when paying with an e-check - once credited to my paypal account, can i withdraw it to be deposited directly to my bank acct? or will i need to wait for a physical check from paypal?
2) are there any fee's associated with accepting e-check's?
thanks in advance!

i haven't had experiences with e-checks on paypal, but i've just had the buyer deposit the $$ directly into my checking and then i ship the product.

You have a couple of options to choose from: direct deposit to your bank acct, bank check ...Whatever you do, make sure the fund is clear BEFORE shipping, this takes a couple days.

Yes, the fee is $5 regardless of the amount. If PayPal charges you a percentage then it means that the other party does not use e-Check.

I think the echeck can take about a week to process. So dont ship anything until it clears.

thanks ladies and gentlemen.....got all the answers i needed. i was unclear after reading PP's policy on echecks. i just wanted to make certain that once the echeck cleared, i didn't have to then wait for them to mail me out a physical paper check! wanted to confirm that the funds could be withdrawn and direct deposited into my bank acct.
thanks again all!
