Mayweather does not deserve a fight against Manny...I honestly don't want to see that fight happen, let Mayweather ride someone else's coat tails to a paycheck...

I remember the last Manny-Mayweather thread...not going down that road with you..... I have not seen nor heard of Floyd doing anything as of late to help his career or his sport in general..while his past fights and record are worth making note of...as of late, who really is the main draw for a Manny-Floyd match...that being said, Manny does not need that fight as much as Floyd does...Floyd needs to put his ego aside, realize that and quit dancing behind stipulations and negotiations. If he wanted to fight Manny it would have happened already, period. I'd like to see Manny fight Berto if anyone..

agreed on your point about no one wanting to see a fight 5 years too late, but I honestly think it is too late for this fight to happen....

What has Mayweather done lately? Oh, he just beat Shane Mosely. That guy that knocked out Margarito and beat De la Hoya (twice) his prime.

Mayweather has a healthy following but, there?s no doubt that the attraction for a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight worldwide is Pacquiao 6/1. Yeeiikes!! And I?m not even considering travel and casino gambling $$$ considerations. This doesn?t help Mayweather?s bargaining power. Fundamental fairness doesn?t apply in prize fighting. A 50/50 split now seems very unrealistic.

I don?t think Mayweather is avoiding Pacquiao. I think that as Pacquiao grows in popularity and fight experience, terms become difficult for Mayweather to swallow. Mayweather accepting the low end of a 60/40 cut and fighting at a weight that Pacquiao determines? Seems very reasonable to me. If ?Money Mayweather? accepted this, his ego would be so crushed and demoralized that he wouldn?t have enough confidence to crawl between the ropes and get in the ring. He?d be psychologically defeated before the bell rings. Pacquiao has little motivation to accept more generous terms, especially after Mayweather has spoken so ?kindly? about him and Freddy. Floyd Sr. had his career ruined when he was shot in the leg. Mayweather has likely lost millions and hurt his career by shooting himself in the mouth with stupid racist and insensitive comments.

Berto is easy work for Manny. Clotty defense was better and he took a better punch.

If other events in Mayweather?s tumultuous life don?t get in the way, this fight can still happen?but it better happen soon, before Pacquiao changes his mind.

That's because Floyd hasn't fought ANYONE good in their prime, so he definitely won't fight Manny now. He's waiting for Manny to lose (which doesn't look like it's going to happen) or until Manny appears past his prime to do a fight.

The Manny vs Berto might be good, but I think Berto needs more seasoning - Manny has way too much experience and has been through some wars, so he knows how to handle them.

LOL, what's next for Manny - jump up in weight again? Fight Andre Ward? That may be a good match, Ward is as fast as Manny and has power, but I don;t see it happening because that is just too big a leap for Manny. Too much weight needed to be gained.

Mayweather waiting for Pacquiao to pass his prime level doesn't make sense to me. Mayweather is older than Pac, if he waited any longer, himself would be past his prime... maybe?

Lastly, Manny doesn't need to prove himself to anyone anymore. He's already proven himself to everyone who has doubted him 4-5 fights ago. My take is that he should retire and focus on making his country a better place.

Congressman Manny Pacquiao is planning to spend his fortune to help the young people of his province, Saranggani, by building Pacquiao University.

It will be called Pac U for short.

The students will be called Pacquers.

Mommy Dionisia (Pacman's mom) will be running the school and will be titled "Mother Pacquer".

After hearing this news, his brother, Bobby became jealous and announced that he, too, will open a school and it will be called, Pac U-2.
