Forgot to mention that when we were at a mini-E60 meet at Santana Row a couple of months back, Phil Schiller (Apple's Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing) turned up with his son. Phil was in an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Didn't get a chance to speak with him, but he seemed like a very cool guy who, like all of us, was just enjoying hanging out with a bunch of very cool cars at the regular Saturday morning exotic car meet. On that particular day, the highlights included a Spyker C8 (what an amazing interior!), a Carrera GT and an LP640 amongst other awesome cars such as an F430 Scuderia, a 360 Challenge Stradale to name but a few. Funny, every time I go to those meets I leave a very humbled guy - there's some serious money here in Silicon Valley!

No ECF, Phil is all-American! The English guy you may have been thinking of was Alex Ross, the guy who owns SharkWerks. Some of the guys on the board may remember him as the guy who set up the Sharky Extreme technology website back in the day. After he got out of that venture, he got into the Porsche tuning business and set up SharkWerks. He was the guy in the 997 GT3 RS.
