Shrug - Michael Mann, the original creator and director of the series created and is directing the movie. He also did Heat, Collateral, etc... I think it will be good, he is using actors that he works well with. I'm a fan of his work and a fan of the series - it's got a pretty good chance of being good IMO.

Agreed about Michael Mann and his work, but I gotta say when you click on the link, the photo of Colin Farrell with unshaven look does bare a striking resemblence to George Michael...

Yes, but much more effeminate. HAHAHAHA.
The way I look at it, the guy seems like a total scumbag (Colin) - and this might possibly be the only role he'll ever play where he's supposed to seem that way (Crocket pretending to be a drug dealer). I think the casting might work. Heck, we watch Ben Affleck in movies right? He's impossible to like and -always- wrong for the role he is cast in. Mann does a good job of coaching his actors to produce some really good results. I hope he can do the same in this case.

What were you guys out seeing? I saw Xmen 3 this weekend. That Nacho Libre movie looks -insane-. I can't wait.
