Just finalized pricing on 2014, 550xi for ED yesterday! Salesman ( Steve Quinn) at New Motors, Erie, PA was superb. Used forum for ED pricing, using the Euro invoice (~ 7% less).
Used Kelley Blue Book for trade in value. Current BMW is a 2008 535xi with 53,000 miles. Trade was appraised at $19,000, which is between Very good and Excellent. I was happy with this, especially when my wife held out for an extra $490! This will pay for Sirius upgrade.
Car is Cashmere Silver with Cinnamon Brown. Since I live on the "snow belt" cold weather package was a must. Looking forward to a pick-up sometime in the middle of March. Maybe

Zurich and Milan do not excite me but maybe it would be different if I were traveling with three other guys. Monaco, Nice, Cannes, San Tropez would have some appeal in winter, as would Barcelona, the rest of Spain and Portugal. Alternatively, you might consider southern Italy - though normally I would not recommend taking my new car into Italy.
