I can't believe all the conspiricy theorists that claim the government had something to do with the destruction of the buildings from alowing it to happen to even planting thermite, etc to drop the towers and other buildings. I personally know someone who believes all of that.

Same as the conspircy theories that claim Pearl Harbor was allowed to get the people behind the president getting into WWII.

This day was a little depressing for me earlier on, but as the day went on it got better. I thought my dad was lost on this day, and it brings back horrible memories to the point where I can vomit. Here is 2 pictures of my dad, he was in the 2nd tower that went down and was underground I believe and got out hours later through the train station. He was on a list of missing officers that the Port Authority had set up in Pace University not far from Ground Zero. He is alive and well, and was trying to get in time trials in Englishtown. So we all think thats the best place for him today, even though he didnt get to race, he was where he was most happy.. Love you dad!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOO MUCHXOXOOXOXOXOOX

p.s my dad is on the right of the pic

Thank goodness your dad made it out alive. Sounds like the man upstairs was on his side. One of my neighbors in my apartment building, a recent college grad who had just gotten out of school and started at Cantor Fitzgerald (Mark Marolo), did not make it out alive.

It is such an outrage that we still have not caught either Bin Laden or Al Zawahiri.

People who honestly believe that need to be kicked out, because obviously they have no love for their own country.

I think the conspiracy theorists of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor and the anti-Obama "birthers" are nuts and I can't stand them. That being said, they have a right to speak. Our Constitution guarantees no less.

The cornerstone of our democracy and the thing that makes the U.S. so strong is that we tolerate dissent and anti-government speech. Were the government to squelch that, we would be shredding the Constitution and moving more toward the models of the very despotic countries that we all revile. The best antidote for offensive speech is more speech aimed at discrediting the offensive speech IMHO.
