Guys, i need some help! I'm doing a financial analysis on BMW Group for my MBA and i need some figures from the German Car Industry. I need the averages of profitability and short-term liquidity so that i can compare my figures calculated from BMW Group's Annual Report with the industry averages.

Can anyone help?! I tried to google it and no luck.

PLLLLLLLZ HELP!

PS: You can see how mental i am by choosing this company for my research paper. Maybe i went too far...

Companies like Hoovers (which is a subsidiary of Dunn & Bradstreet) have this kind of info available. It's a subscription based business information service (we use it at work) but there is some limited free content on Hoovers that lists current profits and prior year variances, you can get this info at least on BMW and its peers. Another way you can get peer info such as this is through investor research available from an online stockbroker, a lot of business information is available this way and most sites offer pretty detailed peer comparisons for any stock that you may be considering or researching.

Good luck with the MBA

http://finance.yahoo.com also has lots of basic info and profiles. As long as the companies are listed (which they should all be)...
