I have a small collection of music about 11GB worth, the volume is mostly off for the different albums, I want to normalize it to get equal volume and a nice bass, so I went looking for software for mac, btw i'm on an iMac Intel. I found MacMp3Gain, I normalize my MP3s, using 89db, and it ripped off all the bass of my mp3s!! Now when I burn them onto CDs, I have no bass, or extremely little, not good music like before anymore. How do I fix this, and is there any good software out there to normalize mp3, so i get a nice equal volume, and nice bass. What dB? Thanks so much...

When I burn my mp3's with Nero, it asks me if I want the volume normalised. I give it a check mark and off it goes...simple.
Don't know about Mac though...

Have you already tried checking off "sound check" in iTunes?

It was never checked. My MP3s were fine before I used MacMP3Gain. The only reason i used it was because some of the files had a huge difference in volume, so when i blast it in my car, and when the loud one comes on, it sounds like it'll blow my speakers.
