Today it finally happened. A friend of mine and I went to lunch and when we finished and returned to my black E60 we couldn't open the freakin door, no matter how hard I pushed on the key fob and how hard we pulled on the handle. Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw the lights in the car next to me blinking as I pushed the button on the fob (I disabled the annoying chirp).

You can imagine my horror when I discovered I was trying to get into a freakin black Toyota Camry. Oh the horror, I had to wash my hands for at least 20 minutes. What's the world coming to when they can make a $20K car look like a $50K car? I am in shock, I thought this would never happen to me. Any advice on how to get over this? Has this ever happened to anyone, too? I feel so vulnerable and violated, right now.

Might need to get those eyes of yours checked

Hasn't happened to me, but might be time to consider some mods for that E60 of yours

How many drinks did you have at this lunch? I don't know how your friend kept a straight face through all this. Is this an April Fool's post? Its a day late.

If it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend is walking up to the wrong car all the time, as long as it's silver she doesn't see the difference.

To be honest I have mistaken new Accords for a E60 until I get closer, I blame it on my out of date eye prescription.
