I never read the now infamous JonD threads, they were before my time, but I love that they live on in this thread as an example for us all now! Thanks for the post Rudy!

The most memorable thread to me was the Quad_M thread. What fascinated me was that it was quite apparent to me, for about 6 months, that he was hoodwinking many of the members here. His excuses and comments were specious at best. Yet members just continued to praise him and make excuses for his excuses. Members continued, in order to save a few bucks, to order the M Kits from him. I wrote private messages to a number of members who had posted they were thinking of placing an order with him but the orders just kept puring in. It was a fascinating study in human interaction for about 6 months for me. I have not heard the progress of the lawsuit but I have never been optimistic about its outcome.

My favorite, other than the ynottony threads where he accused me of being a moron with no responsibility in my daytime job (oh if only it were true I'd probably add 10 years onto my life span), is C's thread about the "pulleys" he installed in his ride:

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=pulleys

I had so many laughs watching that thread progress.

Most of you newbs won't remember the infamous "JonD" who had an amazing stable of exotic cars...or did he?

Read this short thread first and pay particular attention to the posts from JonD:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=14464

Then read this longer one for some fun:
