Based on posts from Ferrari and Lambo owners on 6Speedonline, I get the sense that most of them negotiate just like we do!

I once negotiated a purchase of a barely used Ferrari 575M for a relative. There was a ton a negotiation on that one (not a "take it or leave it deal at all") -- car had 5K miles and final price was $180K. The dealer (a Ferrari dealer in Michigan) actually asked me to draw up a contract of sale. Then, after wasting hours and hours finding the car and haggling over the price, the relative backed out because they "didn't want to be a target". Car was bannana yellow and so gorgeous.

Based on this experience, if I were ever going Ferrari, I'd go barely used. The depreciation of the car in 5K miles from new was absolutely enormous. And no waiting list.

Ya it makes sense that they would haggle, I guess that's how the rich stay rich - by getting the price they want.

Sorry to jack this thread.

Today while going to SC BMW, an Audi R8 was sitting right next to me at the stoplight - it is one nice vehicle.
