The car now is not driveable (Of cos) and just wanna know is there anything i can do before taken to the BMW? (Might tow it back i think). Ive tried to take the mirror off but the BMW built quality means no success to me. Here enclosed two pics and any help will be much appreciated!

The glass can be taken out. Try to move glass position until you see inside (with flashlight and dental glass), and they using picking tool to unlatch the mirror.

Find and remove the fuse(s) marked "electric mirror" and "heated mirror" so that regardless of whether it's a motor problem or heating element problem they would both be disabled. Then you should be able to start the car without the mirror smoking and drive it to the dealership.
