I haven't actually had a chance to see Vista yet, but I've heard from a few people that it's basically like using a Mac OS. Any truth to this?
All the stuff inside is almost the same as XP just you got to find you way around it.

Well yes and no Microsoft copy most of the design from Mac OS but I have turned off most of the features to make it much faster.

So, it's like XP but with a more flashy interface and several security issues? Baring in mind the thousands of programmers that created Vista... why am I not impressed?

not many people are buying them in HK too much.
If the price comes down half then they will sell more.

Yup. I couldn't agree more.
Sling Media announced the Slingcatcher prior to Apple's announcement of Apple TV. It will sell for less than $200 when released in mid-2007 -and- be media format agnostic, which is a HUGE deal. Not having to transcode is critical.

Isn't this about the fact that the software is rather new, and some producers didn't match their software just perfect with it or some not at all?! SP1 is on it's way anyhow...
they had over a year to get the patchs and fixs done so microsoft are just coning us, that why dell is selling the old xp again.
the bata was out a long time, they could have used that to fix or patch stuff.
O well only 5 months to go until sp1.
