micheal jackson, as much as i did not care for him, probably the single best entertainer music has seen. the only "entertainer" that came close was elvis presley.

but MJ, was an entertainer. Prince is a Musician/entertainer. he is an extremely talented guitarist. Both incredible in their own right, but not comparable IMO. they often are compared because they are both considered to be "weird.

I am a musician if that helps quantify my opinion.

I am only 26. i think the people who can appreciate the height of his career feel differently than i do. I would say 30-35 are taking this the hardest.

Here we are, the President and the US Congress plotting to screw us all to the wall tomorrow and our thoughts today are dominated by the passing of MJ.

MJ?s life or death has had absolutely no effect on my life or on the life of most of those who are mourning tonight.

Where are our priorities?
