Yep--I can't remember the last time I watched a commercial. I'd had TiVo for 4 years and it really changes the way you watch TV.

I'm pissed that my cableco doesn't have the firewire enabled on the DVR - I have every single episode recorded in 720p and Dolby Digital. The DVR doesn't have a whole lot of space left and I'd really hate to lose them. Ideally, I'd like to be able to connect the PC to the DVR and transfer it all off... maybe re-encode in VC-1.
