I get Photobucket - Bandwidth Exceeded errors but I was able to find the link to the pictures. They look good.

One thing I like to do is to get motion blur. You have to set the shutter to a slightly slower speed (1/200 or 1/250 sec might be good) and pan the camera with the car while taking the pictures. It helps to have a long view of the cars, start to pan, and take the shot as it gets close. It takes practice but looks cool. Here is a great example from an F1 race last year (at 1/160 sec):

I agree...I spent many years taking racing photos and although your pictures look really amazing John, many of them don't capture the incredible speed of the cars. I realize you probably could've used a faster shutter speed and literally made the cars look stationary (able to read the white lettering on the tires and all) but panning the camera and not just blurring the background but actually streaking it does wonders...
