I just got the game yesterday - it has an incredible worldwide online system... Anyone who has the game PM me and we'll get an E60 Friends network built up for races, etc...
If you don't have it but have a Wii system - RUN and buy the game, the wheel and driving system are incredible.

We should have it by the weekend -- the only thing is whether I'll have any time to play around with it once my son gets his hands on it...
(If I had any time to play games, I'd be having some fun with GT5 Prologue and the PS3!)

Saw this for sale at Target and my 5 year old has given the green light she wants it! Does anyone know if the game allows 2 players at the same time which would require 2 wheels?

You can have up to 4 people playing offline and 2 online.
The wheels are only like 6 quid (about $10-$12) and you get one in the box anyway. You don't actually need the wheel as such but it just makes it more realistic (!) when steering. You can use the Nunchuck or the traditional Gamecube controller if you prefer also.

Yes, and you can also both go online together and race others - 12 people total at a time, either random people from all over the world, or a group of friends (people who give you their Wii IDs).
The wheel is way more fun, and probably easier for a 5 year old, but you don't need a wheel to play. Like someone already said, it's about $10 for another wheel.

I've had it since the US release and I still get killed online... like any other multiplayer, you only get good by playing online.
We should be able to structure some tournaments... let's all get connected up!
