Either way, I think the reason it has not yet been legalized is really only because there aren't any real "activists" for this - people who smoke just get high and pass out before they can do anything significant. And people in the Gov't somehow have not yet found a way to monetize it or just don't want to risk trying to push it through.

U guys are assuming that people would buy weed through sources that will tax it and send a big ol check to uncle sam. All I'm saying is they won't. Weed isn't like cigarettes and alcohol. It would be impossible to regulate as such. the gov would lose money or break even at best trying to tax and collect. if u think people will buy 20 bags at the liquor store ur trippin, that shitll be garbage and no one is going to want to by a bag that's been sitting on a shelf collecting dust, it's not addictive like cigs. They don't have to. I wouldn't that's for sure.
