I can make her change direction at will. Also she can go left to right and back(180), without doing 360. Is that weird?

I originally thought it may have been something in the GIF file that just spun it in the opppsite direction randomly rather than the brain interpreting the direction of motion. A sort of hoax. But I don't think so now. Can anyone open the GIF to have a look?

I thought the same thing but I don't think so now either. I think it really is one of those things that can play tricks on the brain (like an optical illusion.)

Can anyone explain the technique they use to change the direction?

Not weird at all - I can get her to do the same.

So is there a specific technique you use to make her change? Do you look at a specific area? I've been able to make her change a couple times but I can't do it at will...

If so, her right foot shadow assuming she is on a floor of some kind is more closed to our eyes. If so, the rotation is clockwise.

If the shadow is on a wall, it is hard to judge.
I think you have hit the nail on the head here. The picture has almost zero points of reference that would allow you to perceive depth - it is essentially an almost-flat silhouette. That means that our brains decide whether that shadow is falling forward or falling backwards, and this starts of the process of thinking that the girl is going one way or the other.

When I focus on her lower part (no, LEGS) she spins clockwise.... but when I shift focus to the upper part she turns anti-clockwise. ... Jeezus, must her nipples that distracts me!

Ok I've worked out how to get it to spin in either direction at will ... what I do is hold my finger infront of the screen and rotate it, 3D, as if it were the leg, timed at the same speed as the leg. If I rotate it clockwise then focus on the leg, I see it spinning clockwise. Do the opposite, and the image follows. Once I've done that a few times, I find I can then do the same without using my finger infront of the screen. Very weird...!
